Job summary

MBRF Global Foods Company S.A. invites applications for a Sensory Analyst role based in Jeddah. You will verify sensory quality of finished products and ingredients, assist in lab procedures, and train staff in sensorial analysis.

You will work with QA, R&D and Production to ensure compliance with sensorial specifications. The ideal candidate holds a diploma in a related field, has at least 3 years of experience, and demonstrates strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Food Technology, Veterinary Sciences, Biochemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Business proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of sensory evaluation methods, Good Laboratory Practices, food microbiology and biochemistry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
• Based in Jeddah or open to relocating to Jeddah.

Responsibilities

• Verify/measure sensorial quality of finished products and ingredients based on sensorial specifications.
• Assist to prepare and keep up-to-date laboratory procedures for sensorial analysis.
• Train technical staff to disseminate sensorial knowledge.
• Capture new sensorial analysis techniques.
• Conduct sensorial analysis for customer/consumer complaints of a complaint product.
• Assist sensorial demands from QA, R&D and Production.
• Manage sensorial results and issue reports.
• Assist QA on elaboration of sensorial testing plan and ensure its fulfilment.
• Participate in meetings and correct any non-conformance.
• Participate in internal or external technical events related to sensorial analysis.
• Analyze packaging materials and ingredients received, maintain certificates and record data.
• Perform Iconic products evaluation and maintain data.
• Perform clients’ products evaluation and maintain data.
• Check integrity and functionality of equipment.
• Perform trial sample evaluations with R&D Sensory.
• Conduct sensory evaluation of shelf-life samples.
• Develop and maintain in-house sensory panel for finished product testing.
• Develop and maintain sensory specification with R&D Sensory team.
• Comply with BRF Sustainability Policy guidelines and ESG commitments.
