Job summary

MBRF is seeking a Sensorial QA Analyst based in Jeddah to verify sensory quality of finished products and ingredients, develop lab procedures, and train staff in sensorial methods. You will support QA, R&D, and Production with sensitive evaluation data and contribute to ongoing quality improvements.

Candidate should have a Diploma in Food Technology or related fields, 3+ years’ experience, and strong English skills. Proficiency with Office tools is required; relocation to Jeddah is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Food Technology, Veterinary Sciences, Biochemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Business proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of sensory evaluation methods, Good Laboratory Practices, food microbiology and biochemistry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Verify/measure sensorial quality of finished products and ingredients based on sensorial specifications.
• Assist to prepare and keep up-to-date laboratory procedures for sensorial analysis.
• Train technical staff to disseminate sensorial knowledge.
• Capture new sensorial analysis techniques.
• Conduct sensorial analysis for customer/consumer complaints of a product.
• Assist sensorial demands from QA, R&D and Production.
• Manage sensorial results and issue reports.
• Assist QA on elaboration of sensorial testing plan and ensure its fulfillment.
• Participate in meetings and correct non-conformances.
• Participate in internal or external technical events related to sensorial analysis.
• Analyze packaging materials and ingredients, maintain applicable certificates and data.
• Perform iconic product evaluation and maintain required data.
• Perform client product evaluation and maintain data.
• Check integrity, functionality of equipment.
• Perform trial sample evaluations with R&D Sensory.
• Conduct sensory evaluation of shelf-life samples.
• Develop and maintain in-house sensory panel for finished product testing.
• Verify/measure sensorial quality of finished products and ingredients.
• Assist to prepare and keep up-to-date laboratory procedures for sensorial analysis.
• Assist the R&D Sensory team in developing the sensory specification.
• Comply with BRF Sustainability Policy guidelines and ESG commitments.
