Job summary

MBRF is seeking a Sensorial Analyst in Jeddah to verify and measure sensory quality for finished products and ingredients, while updating lab procedures and training staff in sensorial techniques.

You will support QA, R&D and Production with sensorial requests, conduct shelf-life evaluations, and maintain data and certificates. The role requires English proficiency, a relevant diploma, and relocation flexibility to Jeddah.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Food Technology, Veterinary Sciences, Biochemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Business proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of sensory evaluation methods, Good Laboratory Practices, food microbiology and biochemistry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
• Based in Jeddah or open to relocating to Jeddah.

Responsibilities

• Verify and measure sensorial quality of products and ingredients.
• Prepare and update laboratory procedures for sensorial analysis.
• Train staff to disseminate sensorial knowledge.
• Capture new sensorial analysis techniques.
• Conduct sensorial analysis for customer/consumer complaints.
• Assist sensorial demands from QA, R&D and Production.
• Manage sensorial results and issue reports.
• Assist QA on sensorial testing plans and fulfilment.
• Participate in internal/external technical events related to sensorial analysis.
• Analyze packaging materials and ingredients received, maintain certificates and data.
• Perform iconic product evaluations and maintain data.
• Perform client product evaluations and data.
• Check integrity and functionality of equipment.
• Conduct sensory evaluation of shelf-life samples.
• Develop and maintain in-house sensory panel for finished product testing.
• Verify/measure sensorial quality of finished products and ingredients.
• Assist R&D Sensory team in developing sensory specifications.
• Comply with BRF Sustainability Policy guidelines and ESG commitments.

• Verify/measure sensorial quality of finished products and ingredients based on sensorial specifications

• Perform Iconic products evaluation and maintain required data
• Perform clients’ products evaluation and maintain required data
• Check integrity, functionality of equipment
• Perform trial sample evaluations alongside with R&D Sensory
• Conduct sensory evaluation of shelf-life samples.
• Develop and maintain in-house sensory panel for finished product testing
• Verify/measure sensorial quality of finished products and ingredients based on sensorial specifications
• Assist to prepare and keep up-to-date laboratory procedures for sensorial analysis
• Assist the R&D Sensory team in developing the sensory specification
• Comply with BRF Sustainability Policy guidelines, ensure adherence to BRF Sustainability Plan through activities in its routines that promotes compliance with the indicators and global ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments of the Company, ensuring the connection between its actions and sustainable development in the BRF chain
