Job summary

Rackspace in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Operations professional in a hybrid/full-time capacity to lead VMware-focused presales and solution architecture. You will engage with clients, run workshops, and design modern hybrid cloud architectures that align to business goals.

Responsibilities include crafting proposals, guiding delivery teams, and maintaining key accounts while leveraging VMware foundations, Tanzu, NSX, and Aria tools within a robust sales process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years in technical presales, consulting, or architecture.
• Extensive experience designing enterprise VMware-based solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data centre modernization and hybrid/private cloud.
• Proven VMware expertise across VCF, vSphere, NSX, Tanzu, and Aria suites.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Aria Automation, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusted relationships with client executives and technical stakeholders.
• Lead customer workshops on VMware technologies, cloud adoption, and transformation.
• Design solution architectures addressing business objectives.
• Lead presales engagements coordinating SMEs, PM, Sales, and Delivery.
• Produce proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and SoWs clearly outlining scope and effort.
• Provide specialist guidance on VMware platforms and migration strategies.
• Identify stakeholders and address objections to reduce risk.
• Maintain Salesforce pipeline and contribute to organizational knowledge sharing.
