Job summary
Rackspace Technology is seeking an experienced OpenStack engineer to join the Private Cloud Professional Services team in Riyadh, KSA. You will deploy, manage, and optimize OpenStack-based private cloud environments with strong Linux administration and automation skills.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure security, performance, and reliability. The role requires on-site presence in Riyadh, with hands-on experience in OpenStack services and Kubernetes orchestration,
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Hands-on Linux system administration and scripting experience.
- Proven OpenStack deployment, configuration, and management experience.
- Knowledge of Ceph storage and cloud-native principles.
- Certifications RHCSA/RHCE/COA are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, operate, and optimize OpenStack private cloud infrastructure.
- Configure services like Nova, Neutron, Cinder, and Keystone.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
- Develop automation for provisioning, monitoring, and scaling cloud resources.
- Ensure security and compliance practices are implemented.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and reports.
