Job summary

Almarai - المراعي is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance/Food Safety candidate in Saudi Arabia to ensure the delivery of safe and compliant products. The role focuses on maintaining site quality systems, investigating complaints/non-conformances, and driving improvements in hygiene, GMP and cold-chain operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years in QA/food safety, and strong Arabic & English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, chemistry, microbiology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Food Safety in FMCG.
• Proven experience leading investigations related to customer complaints, food safety incidents, and quality deviations.
• Experience in root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Experience conducting internal audits/inspections and supporting external/customer audits.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic & English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc).

Requirements:

Potential candidates must meet the requirements mentioned below:

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, chemistry, microbiology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Food Safety, preferably in FMCG industry.
• Proven experience in leading investigations related to customer complaints, food safety incidents, and quality deviations on products and raw materials.
• Experience in root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Experience conducting internal audits/inspections and supporting external/customer audits.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic & English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excell, Word, etc).
