Job summary

Siemens AG in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to lead technical and commercial efforts for Smart Infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. You will drive growth across MV/HV networks,_EPMS solutions_, and substation automation while building strategic customer relationships and coordinating with Tendering and Execution teams.

The role requires a deep understanding of the Middle East power market and a track record of achieving sales targets, with localization for Saudi Arabia as a core priority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years in Power Transmission & Distribution industry.
• Strong knowledge of MV/HV networks, substations, EPMS.
• Experience with AIS/GIS switchgear, protection relays, substation automation.
• Proven ability to develop digitalization solutions based on customer requirements.
• Strong commercial and business development with sales targets.
• Excellent customer relationship, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Good understanding of the Saudi Arabian and wider Middle East power market.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of Electrical Networks from MV 11kV to 33kV and EPMS.
• Drive growth targets in Power Transmission & Distribution; meet broadened objectives.
• Propose fit digitalization solutions based on customer needs.
• Collaborate with Tendering, Business Administration and Execution teams.
• Build enduring customer relationships for repeat business.
• Develop customer strategies and campaign plans; execute with stakeholders.
• Lead sales strategy and growth initiatives within the region.
• Evolve business models (JV/Open Consortium) per customer requirements.
