Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to lead on-site supervision for a prestigious Riyadh development. You will supervise civil, structural, architectural, MEP teams and ensure construction aligns with approved designs, standards, and schedules.

You will coordinate with authorities, manage contractor performance, and drive testing, commissioning and handover while upholding HSSE requirements and quality controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/related engineering.
• Master's degree preferred in engineering, construction management or project management.
• PE/Chartered/PMP certification highly desirable.
• Minimum 20+ years in construction/engineering; 10+ years as Resident Engineer on major buildings.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Consultant's primary site representative and lead all project site supervision activities.
• Manage multidisciplinary engineering and inspection teams across civil, structural, architectural, MEP, infra and specialist systems.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specs, contract requirements, and codes.
• Monitor contractor performance and progress; review shop drawings, method statements, and submittals.
• Lead progress and coordination meetings; manage RFIs and field modifications.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover; ensure HSSE compliance and safety culture.
