Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Riyadh invites a seasoned Field Engineer - Civil to supervise and monitor civil construction works for a major development project. You will ensure conformance with drawings, specs, and safety standards while coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors on site.

With 8+ years in civil construction and 5+ years on large buildings, you bring a strong command of QA/QC, method statements, and on-site testing. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 8+ years in civil construction and site supervision.
• 5+ years in Field Engineer or Site Engineer on large building projects.
• Experience with large-scale buildings or hospitality developments.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities on site.
• Conduct site inspections and verify compliance with drawings and specs.
• Monitor contractor progress and ensure alignment with schedules.
• Review drawings and documents, identify discrepancies for resolution.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors for seamless execution.
• Inspect foundations, concrete works, roads, utilities, and external works.
• Review method statements, work procedures, and inspections.
• Verify material deliveries and compliance with specs.
• Witness field and laboratory testing related to civil works.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures are implemented on site.
• Prepare site observation and inspection reports.
