Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Riyadh seeks a Senior Resident Engineer to lead site supervision for a flagship development. You will act as the on-site representative, coordinating civil, structural, MEP, and other inspectors to ensure work aligns with drawings, specs and schedules.

The role requires extensive experience in large-scale hospitality/building projects, strong leadership, and command of English. Saudi regulatory knowledge and a track record with FIDIC contracts are highly valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
15+ years of construction and site supervision experience.
8+ years as Resident Engineer on large-scale building projects.
Experience with FIDIC contracts and Saudi/GCC projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Act as the Consultant's primary site representative and lead all construction supervision activities.
Review contractor submissions including method statements, shop drawings, material submittals, work programs and technical proposals.
Monitor progress and ensure compliance with project schedules and milestones.
Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients, authorities, and other consultants.
Ensure HSSE standards are followed and oversee testing, commissioning and handover.
Identify risks and implement corrective actions; chair progress and coordination meetings.
