Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to supervise construction activities, ensure design compliance, and coordinate with architects and MEP teams. You will verify shop drawings, conduct site inspections, and manage QA processes to support large-scale building and hospitality projects.

The role requires a strong background in reinforced concrete, steel, and foundations, with GCC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Master's Degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.
• Professional Engineering registration or equivalent accreditation is desirable.
• Membership in a recognized engineering institution is preferred.
• Certifications related to structural design, construction supervision, or project management are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspect foundations, steel structures, concrete works, and building frameworks to verify compliance with designs.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, and contractor proposals for design intent.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and construction teams on interfaces.
• Monitor quality plans and testing to ensure compliance and resolve non-conformities.
• Prepare daily to monthly reports on progress and inspection outcomes.
• Liaise with client representatives and project teams on structural matters.
