Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a diligent Quantity Surveyor to support major infrastructure supervision in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on cost estimation, measurement, and contract administration for highways, roads, bridges and tunnels.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years of infra project experience, familiarity with FIDIC, and exposure to government authorities in Saudi Arabia; proficiency in Candy, CostX, and Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in infrastructure projects.
• 3–5 years in Saudi Arabia or GCC, preferably consultancy.
• Strong understanding of road/highway/bridge/tunnel project execution and cost management.
• Experience with FIDIC contracts and government authorities in Saudi Arabia.
• Proficient in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and cost management software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review interim payment applications, final accounts, and BOQ measurements based on site progress.
• Assist in cost control, cash flow forecasts, and budget tracking during construction.
• Evaluate and certify variations, claims, and change orders from contractors with Contracts Manager.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify progress and update cost reports.
• Ensure all project costs and financial records are accurately maintained and reported.
• Coordinate with design and supervision teams for cost-effective solutions.
• Provide input during value engineering and cost-benefit analyses.
• Assist in preparation of tender documents, cost estimates, and procurement evaluations.
• Interpret contract clauses and ensure compliance with FIDIC or similar contracts.
