Job summary

WSP seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our infrastructure supervision team in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on cost estimation, measurement, and contract administration for highways, bridges, and tunnels, with a strong FIDIC contract background.

The successful candidate will prepare interim payments, review BOQs, monitor budgets, and certify variations while coordinating with the Contracts Manager. Fluent English is required; Arabic is desirable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in infrastructure projects.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC, preferably in a consultancy role.
  • Strong understanding of road/highway/bridge/tunnel project execution and cost management.
  • Experience working with FIDIC contracts and government authorities (e.g., MOT, Aramco, Royal Commission) in Saudi Arabia.
  • Proficient in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and cost management software (e.g., Candy, CostX, Excel).
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); Arabic is an advantage.
  • Preferred Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurement and cost evaluation.
  • Familiarity with project controls, contract documentation, and technical drawings.
  • Capable of handling multiple packages or contracts under tight timelines.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients.
