Job summary
A leading financial services organization in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Accounting to provide senior leadership and oversight of the accounting function. This role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and full regulatory compliance, while leading teams across various accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have over 9 years of progressive accounting experience along with relevant professional qualifications. This position offers a significant opportunity to influence the strategic financial direction of the organization.
Qualifications
- 9+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including supervisory or managerial experience.
- Strong experience in financial reporting, internal controls, and audit management.
- Proven track record in improving accounting processes and systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior leadership and strategic oversight of the organization's accounting function.
- Lead the accounting function, supervising teams responsible for general ledger, AP, AR, and fixed assets.
- Oversee preparation, review, and consolidation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
