Job summary

Sinopack Search is partnering with an established international engineering consultancy to appoint several Senior Quantity Surveyors in Saudi Arabia's Riyadh region. The role covers pre-contract and post-contract duties across a diverse portfolio, from residential to commercial projects, with a strong emphasis on cost control and value management.

Ideal candidates will have 10–12+ years of QS experience within architecture, engineering or cost consultancy, GCC exposure preferred, and a proven

Qualifications

• 10–12+ years of Quantity Surveying experience.
• Experience in architectural, engineering or cost consultancy.
• GCC experience preferred.
• Excellent hands-on quantity take-off and measurement capability.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong contractual and commercial knowledge.
• MRICS / MRICS / AssocRICS or AIQS would be a major advantage.
• Degree background in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates from feasibility through tender stage.
• Produce accurate quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities.
• Review drawings and specifications.
• Value engineering and design economics.
• Tender documentation and procurement support.
• Contract administration.
• Variations, EOTs and commercial assessments.
• Bank guarantees, insurances and contractual correspondence.
• Work across FIDIC, JCT and similar contract frameworks.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors.

This is a strong opportunity for experienced consultancy QS professionals who are comfortable managing both pre-contract and post-contract responsibilities across a varied portfolio of projects in Saudi Arabia.

The role will involve:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates from feasibility through to tender stage
• Producing accurate quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities
• Reviewing drawings and specifications
• Value engineering and design economics
• Tender documentation and procurement support
• Contract administration
• Variations, EOTs and commercial assessments
• Bank guarantees, insurances and contractual correspondence
• Working across FIDIC, JCT and similar contract frameworks
• Liaising directly with clients, consultants and contractors

Key Requirements:

• 10-12+ years’ Quantity Surveying experience
• Strong background within an architectural, engineering or cost consultancy
• GCC experience preferred

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

The successful candidates will work across a broad range of developments including residential, mixed-use, hospitality, commercial and high-rise projects.
