Job summary

Parsons Riyadh is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer / Scheduler to lead the development and maintenance of detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6. You will establish baselines, monitor progress, and provide reliable forecasts to support on-time delivery on the Green Riyadh Project.

The role requires 7-10 years in planning, strong CPM and risk assessment skills, and the ability to produce weekly progress reports and dashboards for project leadership and client representatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of planning and scheduling experience for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience reviewing and monitoring contractor schedules.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and CPM scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6.
• Establish project schedule baselines and monitor progress against approved plans.
• Develop planning information that supports construction supervision activities and project milestones.
• Identify schedule variances and recommend corrective actions to maintain delivery objectives.
• Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis to assess activities affecting project completion.
• Conduct schedule health checks to evaluate planning accuracy and reliability.
• Prepare what-if scenarios to assess alternative construction sequences and potential schedule outcomes.
• Support forecasting of project completion dates based on actual progress and remaining activities.
• Review contractors' baseline schedules for compliance with project requirements.
• Evaluate contractor progress updates and recovery schedules.
• Monitor contractor performance against approved project schedules.
• Prepare weekly and monthly construction progress reports.
• Develop look-ahead schedules to support upcoming construction activities.
• Prepare project dashboards and executive progress summaries.
• Provide technical planning input for the assessment of schedule-related claims.
