Job summary

Parsons is hiring a Planning Engineer - Construction Scheduling in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will develop and maintain integrated project schedules, measure progress, analyze delays, and provide recovery options to leadership for a major public-realm development in Diriyah.

The role requires advanced Primavera P6 capability, strong critical-path knowledge, and coordination across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Seven to ten years of progressive planning and scheduling experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6.
• Experience coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning schedules.
• PMI-SP, AACE PSP, PMP, or equivalent certification would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and maintain Level 1-4 schedules using Primavera P6.
• Update the Integrated Master Schedule with approved progress, forecasts, and scope information.
• Build schedule logic, calendars, activity codes, and WBS structures.
• Align interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Establish baselines and maintain change control for schedules.
• Perform regular schedule updates, progress measurement, and variance analysis.
• Analyze critical and near-critical paths to protect milestones.
• Run what-if scenarios and propose recovery or acceleration measures.
• Develop resource-loaded schedules and perform resource leveling.
• Support schedule risk assessments and document assumptions.
• Prepare time-impact analyses for changes and delays.
• Create dashboards, narratives, and management presentations.
• Lead schedule-review meetings and coordinate look-ahead planning.
