Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering or Sales (or equivalent)
• CSA certification or equivalent is preferred
• 7+ years of experience in managing sales operations, especially in major projects
• At least 3 years in progressively senior managerial roles
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop the sales plan and quota for the team in assigned territories, considering customer needs and market potential
• Monitor the team to ensure compliance with sales plan on volume, price and value objectives for new equipment
• Schedule field visits to achieve effective coverage of key accounts by sales team members
• Monitor territory expense and revenue budgets with inputs from the sales team
• Assess territory performance against annual sales plans to achieve targets
• Manage submissions of new equipment sales proposals and participate in contract negotiations
• Approve estimates/quotations based on project scope and Otis products pitched to the client
• Identify cross- and up-selling opportunities on new equipment pitches to expand engagement with clients
• Lead field visits with sales teams across client sites to maintain rapport with key stakeholders
• Coordinate with other departments to implement terms of new equipment agreements
• Conduct on-field coaching of sales team members
• Implement corrective actions to remediate problems in the territory
• Gather competitive awareness to position Otis as the preferred provider
• Provide timely information on sales/marketing outcomes to enable decisions
