Job summary

Salla, a leading ecommerce platform, is seeking a lifecycle marketer in Jeddah to own the merchant journey end-to-end. You will shape lifecycle strategy, segmentation, and triggers, then build campaigns across email, WhatsApp, push, and in‑app messaging to activate and grow merchants.

You will run experiments, connect data sources, and apply AI‑assisted personalization at scale to drive activation, retention, and customer lifetime value for thousands of stores on the platform.

Qualifications

• Proven experience owning a merchant lifecycle end-to-end with measurable results.
• Deep fluency in lifecycle concepts: segmentation, cohorts, triggers, retention.
• Hands‑on campaign execution in major lifecycle platforms; capable of API data connections.
• Experimentation mindset: test, measure, optimize, and justify decisions with data.
• Experience building dynamic content systems integrating multiple data sources.
• Active AI usage in lifecycle work with a clear stance on value addition.
• Experience with a SaaS company in the Middle East; empathy for merchants.
• Full working proficiency in Arabic and English; based in Jeddah/Mecca.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the full merchant lifecycle: acquisition, onboarding, activation, growth, retention, win-back.
• Define segmentation, build cohorts, and set behavioural triggers to reduce drop-off.
• Build and ship campaigns across email, WhatsApp, push, and in‑app messaging.
• Run a rigorous experimentation roadmap with controlled tests and meaningful metrics.
• Design dynamic, personalised content connected across tools and data sources.
• Scale content and personalization through AI-assisted workflows with low ops dependency.
• Keep the journey map consolidated, coherent, and optimised; own the lifecycle end to end.
• Report stage-conversion and retention outcomes with a live experimentation backlog.
