Salla, based in Saudi Arabia, is building the digital backbone of regional commerce and seeks a senior product leader for catalog data. You will own the catalog strategy end-to-end and drive data quality and AI-driven enrichment across storefronts and channels.

The role requires Arabic and English fluency, 6+ years in product management, and the ability to coach a small team while delivering measurable impact on downstream surfaces.

Qualifications

• Six+ years in product management with data-driven scope.
• Ownership of data quality and downstream impact.
• Experience changing user-created data at creation time.
• Platform configuration to serve multiple use cases.
• Knowledge of taxonomies, attributes, variants, identifiers.
• AI in production for structured data and confidence handling.

Responsibilities

• Own catalog strategy end-to-end: sequence it into quarters and defend it with numbers.
• Own the roadmap for product data creation and improvement at Salla.
• Design for real users, including non-store owners, to optimize the path.
• Keep a new category as a configuration change, not a full project.
• Put AI to work with a clear confidence policy and feedback loop.
• Define catalog quality metrics and measure impact downstream.
• Own product data performance across external selling channels.
• Decide balance between structure and merchant freedom and defend it.
• Lead 2–3 product managers and coach their framing and craft.
• Collaborate across search, discovery, storefronts, vendors, and data teams.
