Job summary

Gathern, a Saudi alternative accommodation marketplace, seeks an Analytics Manager to transform analytics into a trusted decision engine. You will lead an analytics team embedded in the business, owning planning, KPI definitions, and data-driven priorities to drive company KPIs.

You will design a connected KPI framework, run forecasting and scenario models, and own the monthly/quarterly performance reports. Expect leadership exposure, a strong data culture, and a fast-paced planning rhythm.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years in analytics, including 2+ years leading analysts.
• Experience in a consumer marketplace or two-sided platform at scale-up stage.
• Has owned a KPI framework, planning models and performance reviews used at executive level.
• Has built or matured an analytics function beyond reporting.
• Advanced SQL (BigQuery preferred) and BI tools (Metabase or similar).
• Strong in forecasting, scenario modeling, variance analysis and experimentation.
• Strong written and spoken English, with board-ready communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a connected KPI tree: North Star, then primary and secondary KPIs for each function.
• Own the analytical side of the annual and quarterly planning cycle.
• Build driver-based models that simulate targets and check that function targets add up to company targets.
• Run scenarios for leadership and Finance, and defend the assumptions.
• Own the monthly and quarterly performance reports.
• Explain every material miss or beat with its real drivers and a recommended action.
• Set the top data-backed focus areas for each function every quarter.
• Track which recommendations are adopted and measure their impact on KPIs.
• Design experiments and post-launch measurement for key initiatives.
• Enforce certified metrics, definition control and dashboard hygiene across the company.
• Hire, coach and grow the analyst team; write SOPs and pair with business functions.
• Run demand intake and prioritization so the team spends time on high-value work.
