The Sales Associate - Retail Customer Experience will play a direct role in creating a positive shopping journey while contributing to store sales performance. The position combines customer engagement, product recommendations, loyalty promotion, merchandising, payment processing, stock awareness, and daily operational support. • Ensure merchandise is displayed attractively and in accordance with approved store layout standards.
• Follow visual merchandising guidelines and maintain required presentation standards across assigned areas.
• Apply stock norms correctly for clearance and promotional merchandise.
• Maintain orderly merchandise displays and replenish products when required.
• Record inventory movements accurately for incoming and outgoing stock.
• Maintain relevant stock reports and support inventory control procedures.
• Operate the Point of Sale and billing counter efficiently.
• Balance money in the cash till at the beginning and end of assigned shifts.
• Process customer payments accurately through cash, credit cards, vouchers, and approved automatic debit methods.
• Issue receipts, refunds, change, and other transaction documentation correctly.
• Maintain continuous awareness of store security risks and suspicious activity.
• Follow established SOP and Loss Prevention Policies at all times.
• Protect merchandise and company assets by maintaining strong stock-loss awareness.
• Keep store sales figures and commercially sensitive information confidential.
• Support routine store maintenance and operational duties assigned by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Assist with maintaining an organized and customer-ready sales floor throughout trading hours.
