Job summary

Seara International in Saudi Arabia seeks a procurement professional to manage purchasing activities for food products, review PRs, collect supplier offers, and place POs in the ERP system.

You will follow up deliveries, monitor supplier performance, verify item receipt against POs and contracts, handle cash purchases, and support the Procurement Manager with additional tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business Administration.
• 3+ years of experience in purchasing for food industry, especially frozen protein.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review PR from requesting department and coordinate with suppliers.
• Collect offers from suppliers and place purchase orders in the ERP system.
• Send PO to supplier, follow up order confirmations, and monitor deliveries.
• Verify deliveries against PO/contracts and manage cash purchases.
• Monitor supplier performance and handle additional tasks from the Procurement Manager.

Ensure purchasing activities are done efficiently.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Receive and review PR from requesting department
• Collect offers from suppliers
• Place PO on ERP system.
• Send PO to supplier and follow up receiving order confirmation from Supplier
• Follow up deliveries of open orders
• Monitor suppliers' performance periodically
• Verify the receipt of items are as per PO / contracts
• Perform all cash purchased items.
• Manage any additional assignment given by the Procurement Manager.

Academic and professional qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Commerce or Business Administration.

3+ years of experience in Purchasing of Food stuff Industry specially frozen protein.
