Job summary

ACWA Power seeks a senior maintenance leader to head plant maintenance, guiding engineers and supervisors to deliver safe, reliable operations. You will lead preventive and corrective maintenance, optimize CMMS via SAP, and manage the department's budget while ensuring regulatory and IMS compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in mechanical/electrical/electronic engineering and 15+ years of related experience, with strong leadership and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering from a recognized university.
• 15+ years of relevant experience and training (20 years preferred).
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance planning and budgeting.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental management systems.
• Excellent leadership and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and assign work to maintenance engineers and supervisors, ensuring safety and timeliness.
• Implement preventive maintenance plans and coordinate corrective activities.
• Utilize CMMS in SAP for all maintenance tasks; manage resources.
• Prepare annual maintenance and capital budgets for approval.
• Ensure IMS objectives and safety regulations are followed; train staff.
• Coordinate root cause analysis with multidisciplinary teams and implement actions.
