Job summary

ACWA Power in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Section Head – Mechanical to oversee planning, supervising, and executing maintenance activities for mechanical equipment. The role encompasses preventive, corrective, and outage maintenance work to ensure the plant operates safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including strong leadership skills and proficiency in SAP.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant maintenance experience in industrial or power plant environments.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance, plant shutdowns, and outage management.
• Strong experience using SAP/CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise preventive, corrective, shutdown, and overhaul maintenance activities for plant mechanical equipment.
• Lead troubleshooting activities and support the maintenance team in resolving mechanical issues.
• Ensure compliance with Integrated Management System (IMS), HSE policies, and legal requirements.
