Job summary

Al Jomaih Energy and Water is seeking a senior Mechanical Maintenance leader to plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance of gas turbines, HRSG, and associated plant systems. You will mentor engineers, ensure safety, and drive continuous improvement across maintenance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance in large-scale combined cycle power plants.
• IPPU and Siemens GT experience preferred.
• Proven leadership and strong interpersonal/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inspection, maintenance, and repair schedules for mechanical systems and equipment (gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, HRSG, pumps, compressors, HVAC).
• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of mechanical maintenance engineers and technicians to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Provide technical guidance and support for troubleshooting and problem resolution; conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective measures.
• Plan and oversee mechanical maintenance projects, coordinating with other departments to minimize disruption.
• Assist in preparing the annual maintenance budget and manage resources, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining safety.
