Job summary

Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Planning Engineer to join our site-based supervision team for a major public realm development in Diriyah. You will develop, maintain, and analyse schedules using Primavera P6, with cross‑functional coordination across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.

You will lead critical path analysis, resource loading, and time‑impact studies while mentoring junior planners and delivering dashboards for leadership and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of progressive planning/scheduling experience on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Advanced proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6; working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Excel.
• Experience with Synchro Pro (4D/5D Planning).
• Strong command of CPM scheduling, baseline control, progress measurement, and variance/trend analysis.
• Experience with resource-loaded scheduling and cross-functional coordination.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and maintain Level 1–4 schedules in Primavera P6.
• Build robust logic, calendars, and coding structures across disciplines.
• Establish baselines; perform updates, progress measurement, and trend analysis.
• Conduct critical path analysis; run what-if scenarios; propose recovery strategies.
• Prepare resource-loaded schedules and analyze resource availability.
• Support schedule risk assessments and document assumptions and mitigations.
• Prepare time impact analyses for changes and delays; contribute to claims docs.
• Produce dashboards and reports for leadership and clients; lead schedule reviews.
• Mentor junior planners and improve tools and templates.
