Key Responsibilities
Develop, integrate, and maintain project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 across appropriate planning levels.
- Maintain Level 1 through Level 4 schedules and incorporate approved updates into the Integrated Master Schedule.
- Develop logical activity relationships, project calendars, coding structures, work breakdown structures, and schedule interfaces.
- Coordinate schedule inputs across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and other project disciplines.
- Establish approved schedule baselines and maintain control of revisions and authorized changes.
- Perform regular schedule updates using verified progress information from responsible project teams.
- Measure physical and schedule progress against approved baselines and contractual milestones.
- Analyze schedule variance, trends, slippage, and emerging delivery constraints.
- Perform critical path and near-critical path analysis to identify activities with the greatest impact on completion dates.
- Develop what-if scenarios to test alternative sequencing, recovery options, and acceleration measures.
- Recommend practical schedule recovery strategies when progress deviates from planned performance.
- Prepare resource-loaded schedules and evaluate manpower, equipment, and workload requirements.
- Conduct resource analysis and leveling to identify conflicts, shortages, or inefficient deployment.
- Coordinate with discipline leads to resolve resource bottlenecks affecting planned delivery.
- Support schedule risk assessments by identifying assumptions, uncertainties, dependencies, and potential impacts.
- Track schedule risk mitigation actions and reflect agreed measures within planning updates.
- Prepare time impact analyses for approved changes, disruption events, or identified delays.
- Support delay analysis and claims documentation with accurate schedule records and supporting evidence.
- Maintain traceable records of baseline changes, approved revisions, schedule assumptions, and progress data.
- Facilitate regular schedule review meetings with project teams and key stakeholders.
- Develop short-term and medium-term look-ahead schedules to improve execution planning.
- Highlight upcoming constraints, critical interfaces, and milestone risks requiring management attention.
- Produce schedule dashboards, progress summaries, milestone reports, and management presentations.
- Present schedule findings clearly to project leadership, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Support integration of planning data with project controls and reporting systems.
- Apply schedule quality checks to improve logic integrity, activity coding, sequencing, and overall schedule reliability.
- Support continuous improvement of planning procedures, templates, reports, and scheduling practices.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior planning personnel.
- Contribution planning input to change management, risk reviews, procurement planning, and project recovery initiatives.
Ideal Profile

- Bachelor 's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 7-10 years of progressive planning and scheduling experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of Critical Path Method scheduling.
- Practical experience developing and controlling schedule baselines.
- Strong capability in progress measurement, variance analysis, and trend assessment.
- Experience preparing resource-loaded schedules and performing resource leveling.
- Ability to coordinate schedule information across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
- Experience carrying out critical and near-critical path analysis.
- Ability to develop recovery and acceleration scenarios based on project constraints.
- Understanding of schedule risk assessment and mitigation planning.
- Experience supporting time impact analysis, delay evaluation or claims documentation is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex schedule information.
- Clear communication and presentation capability when reporting schedule issues to management and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple planning priorities within fast moving project environments.
- PMI-SP, AACE PSP, PMP, or equivalent certification is desirable.

- Familiarity with DCMA 14-Point Assessment and AACE Recommended Practices is beneficial.
