Job summary

BYD Europe in Riyadh seeks a Senior Regional Truck Lead to own the regional offer, shape strategy, pricing and TCO, and enable sales across the region. You will run portfolio development, market segmentation, and product readiness including charging and services, aligned with finance and R&D.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in commercial vehicles, strong cross-functional leadership, and experience with EV trucks and fleet economics; willingness to travel regionally is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in commercial vehicles including truck product management, sales engineering or business development.
• Deep understanding of truck applications, payload, body integration, duty cycles and fleet economics.
• EV truck, charging and transition-planning experience strongly preferred.
• Strong pricing, business-case and cross-functional leadership capability.
• English fluency; Arabic, Turkish or French advantageous; frequent regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Define the regional truck strategy and segment priorities across light, medium and heavy-duty applications.
• Build country-by-country product/segment roadmaps based on TIV, duty cycles, regulation, competition, price points and electrification economics.
• Own product positioning, target transaction prices, TCO logic and commercial guardrails with Finance and market teams.
• Translate customer requirements into disciplined product requests; distinguish must-have adaptations from low-return complexity.
• Lead launch readiness covering specification, homologation, bodybuilder interfaces, charging, service, parts, training and sales tools.
• Support strategic fleets, tenders and demonstrations; create compelling value propositions and reference cases.
• Manage product lifecycle, competitor intelligence and sales forecasts; provide structured input to global product planning.
• Coach cluster and direct-sales teams on applications, value selling and objection handling.
