JAL International is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize routes for precision components produced by machining, additive, welding, casting, heat treatment, and related processes. The role ensures designs are executable and operations meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial/Production/Materials Engineering, plus 15 years in manufacturing engineering with 8+ years in Aerospace or Oil & Gas, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or Materials Engineering from a recognized program.
• At least 15 years of manufacturing-engineering experience, including 8 years in Aerospace or Oil & Gas production processes.
• Broad knowledge of machining and at least two additional processes such as additive manufacturing, casting, heat treatment, or assembly.
• Proficiency in process planning, tooling/fixture design, CAD/CAM collaboration, capacity analysis, and production-data interpretation.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification preferred.
• NX CAD/CAM/CAE and related Siemens NX certificates strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Process Development: Create routings, process plans, work instructions, control plans, inspection points, and production standards.
• Design for Manufacturability: Review drawings, identify risks, set tolerances, and coordinate with reverse engineering/QA.
• Production Planning & Optimization: Balance capacity, define tooling/fixtures, reduce setup time, improve throughput and utilization.
• Failure & Root-Cause Analysis: Investigate machining and fabrication failures, implement corrective actions.
• Industrialization & Governance: Lead fabrication, process validation, and transfer of methods to repeatable production.

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join ourMechanical Services Shops. Mechanical Services Shops is responsible forproviding rotating and static equipment repair and fabrication of components.

Your primary role is to develop and optimize routes forprecision components produced through machining, additive, welding, casting,heat treatment, and related processes. You will ensure designs are executableand that operations achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and capacityobjectives.

• Youwill hold a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial,Production, or Materials Engineering from a recognized and approved program.
• Youwill have at least 15 years of manufacturing-engineering experience, includinga minimum of 8 years developing and optimizing industrial production processesfor Aerospace or Oil and Gas.
• Broadknowledge of machining and at least two additional processes such as additivemanufacturing, casting, heat treatment, or assembly is required.
• Proficiencyin process planning, tooling and fixture design, CAD/CAM collaboration,capacity analysis, and production-data interpretation is necessary.
• SMECMfgE, ASQ CQE, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, or comparable professionalcertification is preferred.
• Having simulationscertification and all siemens certification for NX CAD/CAM/CAE (NX Teamcenterquality associated Certificate, NX CAD Design Associate Level Certificates, NXCAM Manufacturing Associate Certificate, NX Simcenter 3D CAE AssociateCertification, NX Additive Manufacturing Associate Certification, NX Teamcenterquality associate Certificate, NX Designer Certified Professional (NX)Certification) is strongly preferred.

Education Qualification

Primary Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required toperform the following:

• Process Development: Createroutings, process plans, work instructions, control plans, inspection points,and production standards for new and repaired components.
• Design forManufacturability: Review drawings and models, identify risks, recommendtolerances and appropriate method, and coordinate technical queries withreverse engineering and quality teams.
• Production Planning& Optimization: Balance capacity, sequence operations, define toolingand fixtures, reduce setup and cycle time, and improve throughput, yield, andequipment utilization.
• Failure & Root-CauseAnalysis: Investigate machining, fabrication, dimensional, material, andassembly failures using structured problem-solving; implement verifiedcorrective and preventive actions.
• Industrialization &Governance: Lead fabrication of parts, process validation, material suppliertechnical reviews, and transfer of qualified methods into repeatableproduction.
