Job summary

ProjecTTech is seeking an experienced Industrial Manufacturing Consultant in Saudi Arabia to drive the transition from validated designs to ready-to-run local manufacturing operations. You will bridge engineering and production, assuring manufacturing readiness, process optimization, and quality compliance across electromechanical facilities.

The role requires 8+ years in industrial manufacturing, fluency in Arabic and English, and on-site presence in KSA.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in industrial manufacturing or production engineering.
• Engineering degree in a relevant field.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, written and spoken.
• Based in Saudi Arabia or able to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assess manufacturing facilities, equipment capabilities, and production readiness.
• Define and optimize assembly line layouts, workstations, production workflows, and cycle times.
• Validate manufacturing and assembly processes, including HVAC-R systems.
• Review technical drawings, schematics, BOMs, and manufacturing specifications.
• Develop and adapt SOPs and assembly instructions.
• Implement incoming material inspections, in-process quality controls, and end-of-line testing protocols.
• Support local supplier identification, technical qualification, and supply chain coordination.
• Monitor industrialization schedules, milestones, technical risks, and corrective actions.
• Provide regular progress reports and ensure effective communication between stakeholders.
• Train local manufacturing teams to strengthen technical capabilities and operational autonomy.

Context

As part of an industrial development initiative in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Manufacturing Consultant to support the transition from validated engineering designs to efficient and reliable local manufacturing operations. The consultant will act as the technical and operational interface between engineering and production teams, ensuring manufacturing readiness, process optimization, quality compliance, and successful industrialization of electromechanical equipment.

Main Responsibilities

• Assess manufacturing facilities, equipment capabilities, and production readiness.
• Define and optimize assembly line layouts, workstations, production workflows, and cycle times.
• Validate manufacturing and assembly processes, including refrigeration circuits, sheet metal fabrication, electrical wiring, and hydraulic systems.
• Review technical drawings, schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), and manufacturing specifications.
• Develop and adapt standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assembly instructions.
• Implement incoming material inspections, in-process quality controls, and end-of-line testing protocols.
• Support local supplier identification, technical qualification, and supply chain coordination.
• Monitor industrialization schedules, milestones, technical risks, and corrective actions.
• Provide regular progress reports and ensure effective communication between stakeholders.
• Train local manufacturing teams to strengthen technical capabilities and operational autonomy.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in HVAC-R systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, heat pumps, chillers, or equivalent equipment.
• Solid knowledge of electromechanical manufacturing, industrial assembly, and production processes.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
• Experience with refrigeration circuit assembly, leak testing, performance validation, and equipment safety testing.
• Knowledge of manufacturing quality control, process validation, and production optimization.
• Strong capabilities in industrial project planning, risk management, and technical reporting.
• Familiarity with supplier qualification and industrial supply chain operations.

Candidate Profile

• Engineering degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, production engineering, or industrialization.
• Proven hands-on experience in manufacturing operations and production line implementation.
• Demonstrated expertise in HVAC-R equipment manufacturing or assembly.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and production teams.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken, including technical and operational communication.
• Based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or available for regular on-site presence.
