• Experience section: 15+ years in engine/rotating equipment with at least 8+ years in diesel overhaul, diagnostics, and performance testing.
• Hands-on with OEM diagnostic software, borescope, vibration analysis, dynamometer testing, and RCA.

• Fuel, air & control systems: diagnose and set up fuel injection, turbocharging, cooling, governors, sensors, ECUs.

• Performance testing: plan and conduct no-load and load testing on dynamometer cell and test rigs.

We are seeking a Rotating Equipment Engineer (DieselEngine Specialist) to join our Mechanical Services Shops. Mechanical ServicesShops is responsible for providing rotating and static equipment repair andfabrication of components.

Your primary role is to engineer the overhaul,troubleshooting, and performance testing of industrial diesel engines used inoil and gas service. You will provide engineering support and repair planningthrough initial assessment, diagnostic, assembly, load testing, and finalcertification.

• You will hold a Bachelor'sdegree in Mechanical, Automotive, Marine, or Power Engineering from arecognized and approved program.
• You will have at least 15years of engine or rotating-equipment experience, including a minimum of 8years in industrial diesel-engine overhaul, diagnostics, and performancetesting.
• Expertise in diesel-enginemechanical systems, fuel injection, turbochargers, cooling, lubrication, governing, controls, protection, and overhaul inspection is required.
• Hands-on experience withOEM diagnostic software, borescope inspection, vibration analysis, dynamometeror load-bank testing, and RCA is necessary.
• Ability to interpret OEMmanuals, specifications, test curves, alarm logs, and electronic control datais required.
• Relevant OEM enginetraining, Mobius vibration certification, and ICML MLA I or equivalentlubrication certification are preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

• Overhaul Engineering: Review condition and history, define inspection and repair scope, verify dimensions and clearances, and control overhaul of blocks, cylinder heads, liners, pistons, crankshafts, bearings, and valve trains.
• Fuel, Air & Control Systems: Diagnose and set up fuel injection, turbocharging, intake and exhaust, cooling, starting, mechanical or electronic governors, sensors, ECUs, and protection systems.
• Assembly & Quality Control: Approve assembly procedures, torque and clearance data, timing, lubrication, cleanliness, preservation, and inspection hold points; resolve deviations with OEM data.
• Performance Testing: Plan and conduct no-load and load testing on the dynamometer cell, governor, vibration, temperature, pressure, smoke emissions, and fuel-consumption tests as applicable.
• Diagnostics & RCA: Analyze combustion, power imbalance, blow-by, oil consumption, overheating, vibration, bearing, fuel, and control-system faults; issue corrective-action and reliability recommendations.
