Sofitel Riyadh Hotel & Convention Center is seeking an enthusiastic Barista to join our luxury team. You will craft high-quality specialty beverages and pastries, greet guests, and educate customers on coffee options with passion and professionalism.

Reporting to the Outlet Supervisor, you will maintain quality, manage inventory, and ensure a spotless, safe coffee bar in a fast-paced luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of F&B or retail experience within the last 2 years.
• Proven barista experience with specialty coffee preparation.
• Proficiency with espresso machines and cafe equipment.
• Strong cash handling skills and POS experience.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests, informs about specials, takes orders and processes payments.
• Promotes coffee offerings and accessories; prepares pastries and drinks.
• Educates customers on coffee beans and brewing equipment.
• Prepares espresso-based drinks following recipes.
• Attracts new customers and expands product offerings.
• Maintains inventory of coffee beans, equipment, and pastries.
• Keeps equipment running; performs basic maintenance and repairs.
• Ensures a safe, sanitary, and clean work environment.
• Continuously improves quality and presentation of beverages.
• Learns brewing methods and latte art to enhance service.
