Job summary

BDP International in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Logistic Service Executive to coordinate and execute customer orders per company procedures. You will handle order processing, planning, booking, transportation orders, and end-to-end shipment coordination, including customs steps and accurate documentation.

Applicants should have 3+ years in logistics/forwarding operations, a related degree, and strong IT skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in logistics and forwarding operations.
• Experience with export/import documentation and regulatory procedures preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and ensure alignment with procedures.
• Analyze order plausibility and coordinate transport bookings.
• Plan and track transportation orders and shipments.
• Coordinate shipment follow-up and customs processing.
• Prepare documentation, invoicing and filing.
• Provide shipment updates to customers via multiple channels.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and report non-conformances.
• Collaborate with approved subcontractors at agreed rates.
• Execute end-to-end order handling with accurate records.

Job Description

Scope

Coordination and execution of customer orders in accordance with their requirements and/or procedures based on BDP Ethics.

Responsibilities

• Order processing management
• Customer order plausibility analysis
• Planning / Booking / Transportation orders
• Coordination/follow up of the shipment
• Customs processing (export/import)
• Documentation/administration/invoicing / filing
• Feedback to the customer (internal and external reporting of the shipments to the customer) by various means (mail, phone, EDI)
• Operational troubleshooting
• Non-conformance reporting in accordance with the KPI’s.
• Cooperation with approved subcontractors in accordance with agreed rates
• End to end processing
• Punctual and flawless order handling and documentation

Qualifications / Experience:

• +3 years of detailed experience of logistics and forwarding operations/regulations and documentation
• Preferable a professional degree by a licensed educational institution specialized in logistics and forwarding.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Software applications and/or other market leading software applications
