Thuraya, a premium Lebanese restaurant, seeks an experienced Waiter/Waitress to deliver exceptional service in a luxurious setting. You will welcome guests, explain menu items, take precise orders, and provide attentive, personalized service to ensure memorable dining experiences.

We value strong communication, polished appearance, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Arabic is a plus, and Lebanese/Middle Eastern cuisine knowledge is desirable.

• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and warmly acknowledge guests upon arrival and throughout their dining experience.
• Present menus, explain dishes and daily specials with confidence and professionalism.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate requests to kitchen and bar teams.
• Provide attentive table service while anticipating guests' needs.
• Maintain knowledge of menu, Lebanese cuisine, beverages, and service standards.
• Ensure tables are set, maintained, and cleared according to standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, hostess, and service colleagues for smooth operations.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate when required.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards.
• Support the team during busy periods and contribute to a positive environment.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and restaurant cleaning.
• Ensure billing and payment procedures are accurate and professional.
• Maintain a clean, polished, and professional appearance.

As a Waiter Waitress you will be responsible for delivering exceptional and personalized service to our guests ensuring every dining experience reflects the quality warmth and hospitality that Thuraya represents

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and warmly acknowledge guests upon arrival and throughout their dining experience
• Present menus explain dishes ingredients and daily specials with confidence and professionalism
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen and bar teams
• Provide attentive and personalized table service while anticipating guests needs
• Maintain excellent knowledge of the restaurant s menu Lebanese cuisine beverages and service standards
• Ensure tables are properly set maintained and cleared according to restaurant standards
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and respond promptly to any requests or concerns
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen bar hostess and other service colleagues to ensure smooth operations
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalation? 'escalate' issues to the supervisor or manager when required
• Follow all food safety hygiene health and safety standards
• Support the team during busy periods and contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment
• Assist with opening and closing duties including preparation and cleaning of the restaurant

• Maintain a clean polished and professional appearance at all times
