Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a Senior Business Consultant to join our EMEA Consulting Services team, based in Riyadh. You will lead consulting and implementation projects for clients across investment operations and front-office domains, and serve as the primary client contact for Dimen­sion-related questions.

Bring experience in ABOR, Alts Investment, and Front Office workflows, plus strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in economics/finance, mathematics/computer science or similar qualification.
• Experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant in banks, asset managers, insurers, or consulting firms.
• Strong knowledge of investment management workflows and financial instruments, ideally across accounting, alternatives investment, front-office processes, or related domains.
• Ideally you have SimCorp Dimension® experience or you are familiar with implementing financial software.

Responsibilities

• Own major parts of Dimen­sion® consulting and implementation projects and outline solutions for clients’ investment operations and front-office processes.
• Lead projects in collaboration with the project manager and act as a key on-site contact for customers.
• Instruct and mentor less experienced colleagues on the job and prepare requirement specifications for product enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to offer tailored services beyond the project scope to clients as a trusted advisor.
• Contribute to improving best practices for implementation processes and promote topics across projects.
• Participate in know-how exchange with colleagues at an international level.

We are looking for a Senior Business Consultant to join our EMEA Consulting Services team which strives for consulting excellency, efficiency in configuration and standardization, knowledge sharing and collaboration across divisions and market units. This role is part of our Consulting Services organization supporting clients across key investment operations and front-office domains. We are hiring consultants with experience in ABOR, Alts Investment, and Front Office workflows who can help clients optimize their operating model and make the best use of SimCorp Dimension® across their investment management setup. This opportunity is for professionals to be based in Riyadh only. As part of your induction you will be ‘hands-on’ in our software system and attend the three-weeks’ SimCorp Dimension® Academy.

What you will be responsible for

Then you will take over a range of tasks in a project team:

• Responsibility for major parts of SimCorp Dimension® consulting and implementation projects: You understand clients’ requirements and processes across investment operations and front-office domains and can outline solutions for optimal use of SimCorp Dimension®
• Close cooperation with the project manager and key role in leading projects to success
• Key contact for our customers for all questions in connection with SimCorp Dimension®
• Instruct and mentor less experienced colleagues on the job
• Prepare requirement specifications for enhancements to our product management
• Identify opportunities to offer tailored services beyond the project scope to our customers in your role as a trusted advisor
• Contribute to improving best practices for implementation processes and promote topics across projects
• Actively participate in know how exchange with colleagues on an international level

• Degree in economics/finance, mathematics/computer science or similar qualification
• Experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant from banks, asset managers, insurers, or consulting firms, with exposure to ABOR, Alts Investment, Front Office, or related investment management domains
• Strong knowledge of investment management workflows and financial instruments, ideally across accounting, alternatives investment, front-office processes, or related domains within banking, asset management, and/or insurance environments
• Ideally you have SimCorp Dimension® experience or you are familiar with implementing financial software
• Independent and analytical way of working
• Team spirit and a talent to share your knowledge
• Strong communication and consulting skills and a high degree of commercial awareness, customer orientation and quality consciousness
• Fluency in English
• Willingness to travel
