Job summary

Cartier is seeking a Retail Trainer & Coach for KSA to elevate boutique teams through impactful learning experiences and coaching. You will partner with Boutique Management and cross-functional stakeholders to translate Learning & Transformation strategy into practical actions that boost client engagement and selling excellence across the Kingdom.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Learning & Development or related field in luxury retail.
  • Experience in luxury retail sales, boutique leadership or management.
  • Proven ability delivering engaging learning programmes and facilitating in-person and virtual sessions.
  • Minimum 3 years coaching individuals and teams to improve selling excellence.
  • Strong understanding of retail KPIs and translating insights into coaching plans.
  • Proven ability to build trusted partnerships across a matrix organisation.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Identify capability gaps and development priorities across the KSA boutique network.
  • Design and implement tailored learning and coaching plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Deliver classroom, virtual, and in-boutique learning programmes.
  • Coach teams to strengthen selling behaviours, clienteling, and service performance.
  • Monitor learning impact via KPIs and support LMS maintenance.

Your Mission

As the Retail Trainer & Coach, KSA, you will play a key role in developing the capabilities of our boutique teams by delivering impactful learning experiences, coaching, and performance development initiatives. Partnering closely with Boutique Management and cross-functional stakeholders, you will bring Cartier’s Learning & Transformation strategy to life, empowering teams to deliver exceptional client experiences, strengthen selling excellence, and drive commercial performance across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

With approximately 80% of your time spent in boutiques or delivering virtual coaching, you will ensure learning is effectively translated into everyday behaviours that elevate client engagement, clienteling, after‑sales service, and key retail performance indicators.

How You Will Experience Success With Us
Learning Needs Analysis & Development Planning
  • Partner with Boutique Management, Commercial teams, and Regional Learning & Transformation to identify capability gaps and development priorities across the KSA network.
  • Design and implement tailored learning and coaching plans aligned with business objectives and boutique needs.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, including HR, Client, Marketing, Operations, and High Jewellery teams, to support the successful delivery of learning initiatives.
  • Contribute to regional learning projects and support the execution of the Learning & Transformation roadmap.
Learning Delivery & Facilitation
  • Deliver engaging classroom, virtual, and in‑boutique learning programmes that support Cartier’s client journey, selling philosophy, and service excellence standards.
  • Facilitate practical learning experiences, including sales floor coaching, role plays, and skill‑building activities that reinforce learning and encourage behavioural change.
  • Lead onboarding experiences for new joiners, supporting their successful integration and performance readiness.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning by encouraging knowledge sharing and collaboration across boutique teams.
Coaching & Performance Development
  • Observe boutique teams in their day‑to‑day environment and provide timely, constructive coaching and feedback to strengthen client experience and commercial performance.
  • Partner with Boutique Management to reinforce learning, support individual development plans, and sustain performance improvements over time.
  • Coach teams to strengthen selling behaviours, clienteling capabilities, after‑sales service, and long‑term client relationship development.
  • Inspire confidence, accountability, and continuous growth by creating meaningful coaching moments that translate learning into everyday practice.
Learning Impact & Business Performance
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives through boutique observations, coaching follow‑up, and commercial performance indicators including sales, Average Unit Retail (AUR), conversion, Net Promoter Score (NPS), and client engagement.
  • Analyse performance data to identify coaching opportunities and recommend targeted development actions.
  • Support the maintenance and effective use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Share insights and best practices with Regional Learning & Transformation and business stakeholders to continuously enhance learning effectiveness and business impact.
What You Will Bring
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Learning & Development, Learning & Transformation, or Retail Coaching within a luxury or premium retail environment.
  • Previous luxury retail experience, ideally in a sales, boutique leadership, or boutique management role.
  • Proven experience delivering engaging learning programmes and facilitating both in‑person and virtual training.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience coaching individuals and teams to improve selling excellence, client development, and service performance.
  • Strong understanding of retail KPIs and the ability to translate business insights into meaningful coaching and development plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships and influence stakeholders across a matrix organisation.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital learning tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Train‑the‑Trainer certification is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is essential; French is an advantage.
