Job summary

Castolin Eutectic in KSA seeks an experienced sales engineer to manage sales and marketing of maintenance & repair consumables, welding products and coating solutions. You will identify opportunities, visit sites and present technically sound proposals to customers and distributors.

The role requires 4–5 years in industrial B2B sales, strong welding and coating knowledge, and willingness to travel extensively to develop the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level technical degree or diploma in a related engineering field.
• 4–5 years B2B industrial sales/technical sales experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of maintenance, repair, welding, coatings.
• Willingness to travel extensively and manage a sales territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and marketing activities for maintenance & repair consumables, welding consumables and equipment within the territory.
• Develop new customers and expand business with existing accounts by identifying maintenance problems and repair opportunities.
• Conduct regular customer/site visits to understand applications and maintenance requirements.
• Develop technically and commercially suitable solutions and prepare proposals, quotations and product recommendations.
• Generate new applications and conduct product demonstrations, trials and field evaluations.
• Conduct seminars, presentations, demonstrations and training for customers, distributors and sales teams.
• Manage complete sales cycle including lead generation, quotation, negotiations, orders, delivery and payments.
• Build strong relationships with maintenance, engineering, production, procurement and management personnel.
• Collaborate with distributors to develop market, opportunities, stock levels and sales coverage.
• Coordinate with supply center, logistics and distributors on availability, orders and shipments.
• Support development and training of local distributor/sales force to improve capabilities.
• Ensure timely follow-up and collection of outstanding payments from customers and distributors.
• Maintain records of visits, applications, trials, opportunities, quotations, orders and sales activities.
• Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, pipelines and market updates.
