Job summary

BHIG—Blue Hydrogen Industrial Gases in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, seeks an experienced HYCO Shift Supervisor to lead the Steam Methane Reformer operations. The role requires directing operations staff, coordinating with engineering and maintenance, and ensuring safe, on-spec production.

The incumbent will drive safety, reliability, and process performance, with emphasis on HSSE compliance and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Chemical Process Operations preferred.
• 10+ years in gas/petrochemical operations with 4+ years in line supervision.
• Expert in SIMOPs management and control.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills; safety culture advocate.

Responsibilities

• Manage HYCO Steam Methane Reformer unit operations and staff.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance and HSSE for safe, reliable operation.
• Provide guidance during commissioning, startup and shutdown activities.
• Oversee safety work permits, LOTO, and incident investigations.
• Develop training plans and mentor shift supervisors to improve performance.
