Job summary

Air Products is seeking an HYCO Operator for a world-scale HYCO Steam Methane Reformer facility in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The role reports to the HYCO Shift Supervisor and requires performing field and DCS operations with safety-first mindset, including permits, LOTO, and maintenance coordination.

The ideal candidate has an associate technical degree with 6+ years of plant operations experience, strong English communication, and leadership potential for TARs and shift handovers.

Qualifications

• Associate technical degree required; 2-year certificates considered with experience.
• Minimum 6 years of process plant operations experience with HYCO knowledge.
• Proficiency in English speaking and writing; strong interpersonal and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment and follow BHIG safety processes.
• Operate the HYCO Steam Methane Reformer and CO2 recovery units and associated equipment.
• Provide operations support during plant commissioning and adjust process controls.
• Lead TARs, outages, and startup activities and train new operators.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure reliability and performance.
