Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to provide on-site commissioning, installation and testing of HV equipment including GIS, GCB, LTB and DTB.

The role requires coordinating HV tools and supervising contractors to ensure safe, compliant execution of field activities. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with 6–10 years in HV products, and proficiency in English and Arabic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 6-10 years of experience in high voltage products, electrical equipment, switchgears, and HV switchgear protection and control.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic language is required.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites for installation, testing, and commissioning of Hitachi HV GIS, GCB, LTB, DTB and related equipment.
• Coordinate with tools management; handle HV tools and test equipment for installation and commissioning.
• Lead contractors during job execution and obtain PAC/time sheets for invoicing.
• Prepare site reports, activity plans, resource estimates and method statements as requested by PM or customer.
