Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Saudi Arabia is seeking a GIS I&C Engineer to support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of high-voltage switching systems.

The role covers on-site activities, coordination with project teams, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has a bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, 2–5 years GIS experience, familiarity with SF6 gas handling, and proficiency with MS Project and English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience with GIS is preferred.
• Previous experience with SF6 GAS-Handling and PGHV Transmission & Sub transmission GIS Product knowledge preferred.
• Having capability to use MS project professionally.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out installation and maintenance work independently.
• Ensuring compliance with the installation requirements and safety guidelines.
• Advising on planning and coordination to meet project schedules.
• Cooperating with project managers on status of work.
• Inspecting arriving material for completeness and damage.
