Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in KSA invites a Field Service Engineer to join our team focused on commissioning, installing, and testing HV equipment at customer sites.

You will identify and troubleshoot complex issues, coordinate with project teams, and ensure timely service delivery for GIS, GCB, and related products. Ideal candidates have 6–10 years of HV experience, strong English and Arabic communication, and a degree in Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• 6–10 years of experience with HV products, switchgear, and protective control.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide commissioning, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of HV equipment at customer sites (GIS, GCB, LTB, DTB).
• Coordinate with tools management; ensure HV tools and test equipment are available and used properly.
• Prepare site reports, activity plans, and method statements for customer or PM review.
• Lead contractor/sub-contractor activities; coordinate resources and obtain PAC/time sheets for invoicing.
• Ensure compliance with PM requirements and site regulations; uphold Hitachi Energy values of safety and integrity.
• Submit weekly/monthly time sheets and travel authorizations as required.
