Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to provide on-site installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of HV GIS, GCB, LTB and related equipment at customer sites in Saudi Arabia.

The role requires 6–10 years of HV experience, a degree in Electrical Engineering, and fluency in English and Arabic. You will coordinate with project teams, manage tools, and ensure safety and PM compliance on every site assignment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic is required.
• 6-10 years of experience in high voltage products, electrical equipment, switchgears, and HV protection and control.

Responsibilities

• Active participation in site activities and visiting customer sites for Installation testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of HV equipment.
• Coordinate with tools management and ensure HV tools and test equipment are available for site activities.
• Prepare site reports, activity plans, and resource requirements for PM and customer review.
• Lead contractors or sub-contractors during job execution and coordinate resources to complete tasks.
• Obtain PAC or timesheets signed by customers for invoicing purposes.
• Follow PM guidelines and site regulations while maintaining safety and integrity at all times.
