Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY LTD in Dammam, Saudi Arabia seeks a Field Service Engineer to perform installation, testing and commissioning of HV products at customer sites and Hitachi Energy projects. You will manage HV tools, coordinate with project teams and lead contractors to ensure timely, compliant completion of tasks.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years HV experience and is fluent in English and Arabic. This is an onsite role in Dammam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
• 3–5 years experience with HV products or switchgear is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site activities for installation, testing and commissioning of HV GIS, GCB, LTB, DTB and related equipment.
• Coordinate with tools management and ensure proper use of HV test equipment and Hitachi Energy tools.
• Prepare site reports, plans and resource requirements for PM and customer site regulations.
• Supervise contractors and ensure safety and compliance at customer sites.

Supports the work activities of PGHV Service at site, or at customer workplace.* Learn and perform the test equipment operation used for HV product testing and maintenance work at site, customer premises or Hitachi Energy workplace. Learn how to use tools used for HV products service jobs.* Work with Project Management team on various project as and when required with full compliance of PM requirement and maintain discipline advise by the PM or customer site regulations.* Lead the contractor or sub-contractor during job execution and coordinate with customer and back-office support for any resources requirements to complete the job. Get the PAC or time sheets signed by the customer after completion of assigned task that can be used to invoice the customer.* Prepare and provide site reports, activity plans and resource requirements and share them with the PM, line manager or supervisor.* Follow the company rules and regulations, display good behavior at office and at site, any safety or integrity incident should be reported to line manager, supervisor or project Manager.
