Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Riyadh is seeking an IT Specialist to support daily hotel IT operations, maintaining systems, networks, and infrastructure in line with brand standards.

You will provide first-line tech support, monitor PMS, POS, email, Wi-Fi, and security; perform backups and updates; manage user accounts; and coordinate with vendors to ensure uptime across all hotel technology.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 2–4 years IT support experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networks, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Opera PMS, POS, and Active Directory is a plus.
• Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Maintain and monitor hotel systems including PMS, POS, email, internet, and Wi-Fi.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computers, printers, and network devices.
• Monitor network performance, Wi-Fi connectivity, and system availability to minimize downtime.
• Perform backups, software updates, and antivirus management.
• Create and manage user accounts and access per security policies.
• Coordinate with external vendors for repairs and maintenance when required.
• Support IT projects, system upgrades, and tech implementations across the hotel.
• Ensure compliance with IHG IT policies, cybersecurity standards and data protection.
