Job summary

UCC Holding in Riyadh seeks an HSE Officer to implement and monitor safety practices across projects, ensuring compliance with the project HSE plan and IMS requirements.

You will train workers, conduct risk assessments, investigate incidents, and maintain safety logs and reports to drive continuous improvements in workplace safety. A NEBOSH diploma or related certificates are preferred, with minimum two years of experience.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards applicable to the industry.
• Experience in risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Ability to investigate accidents, incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Experience delivering HSE training programs to employees and contractors.
• Strong communication with management, employees, and regulators.
• ERP knowledge, preferably SAP, is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the execution of HSE activities on a project to ensure HSE requirements are met as per the HSE plan and IMS.
• Assist in developing and implementing emergency response procedures and evacuation plans.
• Provide trainings to workers on HSE related subjects including incident prevention and first aid.
• Identify hazards and unsafe practices daily and report corrective actions.
• Address violations and make recommendations on a daily basis.
• Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports to monitor HSE performance.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure site inductions for all employees.
• Ensure equipment, ladders, PPE, and fire extinguishers are inspected and logs maintained.
• Support HSE initiatives and incident resolution in line with company policies.
