Job summary

Confidential Company in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced HSE specialist to lead risk assessments, develop training programs, and ensure compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental standards.

The role requires 3-5 years in construction, manufacturing, or oil and gas sectors, a Bachelor’s degree in OH&S or related field, and NEBOSH/IOSH certification; you will audit, investigate incidents, and prepare HSE plans and reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in OH&S or related field required.
  • NEBOSH or IOSH certification preferred to demonstrate competence.
  • 3–5 years of HSE experience in construction, manufacturing or oil & gas.
  • Familiar with OSHA and NEBOSH requirements; able to prepare HSE plans/reports.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend practical control measures
  • Develop and implement effective HSE training programs tailored to the specific needs of employees and contractors
  • Monitor compliance with health safety and environmental regulations ensuring adherence to local and international standards
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses thoroughly compiling reports and recommending corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
