Job summary

Bechtel Corporation invites applications for an entry-level Electrical Engineering position in the Ar Rjum project in Saudi Arabia. The role supports senior civil engineers in preparing, coordinating, and reviewing civil deliverables for project management.

You will review conceptual and detailed civil designs, ensure compliance with codes and project requirements, and contribute to safety, quality, and scheduling efforts on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering earned within the past twelve months.
• Strong communication skills, able to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness and ability to travel and relocate to project job sites as required.
• Completed coursework with a strong GPA.
• Prior internship experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Design Suite software programs, ability to prepare reports, and experience in 3D and 4D modelling software.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing drawings for constructability and providing interpretation to installation subcontractors.
• Providing inputs for constructability reviews and preparing Advance Work Packing documents.
• Monitoring construction activities to ensure quality, project schedule adherence and compliance with drawings, specifications and codes.
• Performing quantity takeoffs and assisting with the preparation of field material requisitions.
• Conducting site visits for producing daily reports of the work and subcontractor activities.
• Coordinating input to the quantity tracking and progress database used for measuring project completion.
• Preparing punch lists to track incomplete work.
• Maintaining the highest level of safety awareness and ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest safety standards.
