Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Civil-Engineering support professional for the Ar Rjum project in Saudi Arabia. You will assist senior engineers in preparing, coordinating, and reviewing civil deliverables, ensuring compliance with codes and project requirements.

The role involves collaboration with subcontracted design entities and multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate has a recent engineering degree, strong communication skills, and readiness to travel or relocate to project sites in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering earned within the past twelve months.
• Strong GPA from completed coursework.
• Internship experience in engineering preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings for constructability and interpret installation requirements.
• Provide inputs for constructability reviews and Advance Work Packing documents.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure quality, schedule adherence, and compliance with drawings and codes.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with field material requisitions.
• Conduct site visits and produce daily reports of work and subcontractor activities.
• Coordinate input to the quantity tracking and progress database.
• Prepare punch lists to track incomplete work.
• Maintain high safety awareness and adhere to safety standards.
